New Horizons Ministries, Inc. embraces doctrine and statements concerning the truth.
The Bible is our all sufficient rule for faith and practice. Among other things we believe in the infallible word of God. We believe that the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, were written by holy men inspired by the Holy Spirit and are God’s revealed word to man. They are the sufficient, infallible rule and guide to salvation and all Christian worship and service (II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians 2:13). The Bible is the inspired Word of God, equally in all parts and in the whole; it is totally inerrant in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme revelation from God and of God, superior to conscience and reason, though not contrary to them; and it is therefore our infallible rule in all manners. All the Scriptures center about the Lord Jesus Christ and hence, no portion is properly read nor understood until it leads to Him.
New Horizons Ministries is one in which God is glorified in all that is done. As stated in 1 Peter 1:16 for it is written be ye Holy for I am Holy. A strong trust in the grace of God gives us strength. As Christians it is our desire and our duty to aspire to live a Holy life. This includes all affairs, in every condition, and towards all people. We must especially watch and pray against the sins that we are easily inclined. The written word of God is the surest rule of a Christian's life, and by this rule we are commanded to be holy in every way. God makes those holy whom he saves.
Pastor Mamie L. Mack
Pastor Mack grew up in a Christian home where her father was an Associate Pastor which immersed her into ministry at an early age. As a young adult she continued to teach and work in various roles in the church. She is the mother of two sons . She was ordained Elder by Pastor Virgil Tate of Pittsburg, Penn, in 1999 nd Pastor in December 2015 under the leadership of Overseer Rodney and Pastor Gia Barnes, Founders and Owner of the Power Center Ministry in Monroe, North Carolina.
Pastor Mack has worked in the medical industry as a nurse for many years. which afforded the opportunity to meet hurting and downtrodden women who shared their trials and struggles in life. She spiritually encouraged and motivated them to feel better about themselves. Through the anointing and Grace of God 2008 was the beginning of a women’s ministry. She was given the opportunity to facilitate the Women of New Horizons Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Kelcy Steel of Morning Star Baptist Church.
In 2016 she obtained her Masters of Science in Psychology Degree from the University of Phoenix which resulted in nomination and active membership in the National Success and Leadership Society (Sigma Alpha Psi) as well as membership in the American Psychological Association. She completed the Christian Chaplaincy Program with York Christian College and Divinity School where the Doctorate of Divinity Degree in the field of Pastoral Care and Counseling was obtained under the leadership of the founder,
Bishop Dr. Victor M. Perez, DD, Bachelor of Theology Degree from Beacon University, Macon Georgia. The Bachelor Degree in Social Work was completed at Pfeiffer University, Cum Laude. She graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with AAS Degree in Human Services Casework and Outreach and Diploma in Practical Nursing which resulted in active state and now multiple state licensure (LPN) status. All these were done with the Grace, Mercy, favor and Blessings of God.
Pastor Mack led by God and the work of the Holy Spirit opened the doors of New Horizons Ministries Inc. in 2016. Her desire is to expand the Ministry to incorporate Community Outreach.
